U.S. Congressman Ryan Mackenzie recently shared updates on his engagements and initiatives through a series of tweets. The tweets, posted on June 3 and June 4, cover meetings with industry representatives, awareness about life-saving techniques, and constituent support services.
On June 3, Congressman Mackenzie expressed his appreciation for meeting with members of the Heating, Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International. He highlighted the importance of connecting with organizations that support skilled trades and small businesses in local communities. “Great to meet with members of Heating, Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International to hear about their work in the HVAC industry. Always glad to connect with organizations supporting skilled trades and small businesses in our communities.”
Later that day, he acknowledged National CPR and AED Awareness Week by emphasizing the critical nature of these life-saving skills during cardiac emergencies. He urged people to learn more about CPR and the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), noting their potential to save lives when every second counts. “This week is National CPR and AED Awareness Week. When someone goes into cardiac arrest, every second counts, and knowing CPR or how to use an automated external defibrillator can mean the difference between life and death.”
The following day, on June 4, Congressman Mackenzie recounted an instance where his office assisted a constituent facing challenges with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). With help from Hannah in his district office, they provided necessary guidance within 24 hours. This highlights his office’s commitment to assisting constituents efficiently. “When one of our constituents hit a wall trying to get clear answers from USCIS about his family’s immigration process, he turned to our office for help. Thanks to Hannah in our district office, he got the guidance he needed—within 24 hours.”
