The City of Easton and Northampton County have reached an agreement to provide free parking at the county’s two lots on the south side of Washington Street. According to city officials, these lots will be available for free parking to visitors after 5 p.m. on weekdays and throughout the weekend.
The parking lots are located within a short walking distance—about two to three blocks—from Easton’s business district. City representatives note that this option is intended to support those attending special events, dining out, or visiting venues such as the State Theatre.
This initiative aims to make it easier for visitors to access downtown businesses and attractions during evenings and weekends.
