On Friday, March 13, Embry-Riddle FL Eagles—with former Easton Area High School standout Anye’ Staton on the roster—were defeated 85-69 by the Eckerd Tritons in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The matchup, which started at 1 p.m., took place at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall and marked the first tournament meeting between the Eagles and the Tritons.
