At 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, Evan Applegate, a former Liberty High School standout, pitched three innings for the Susquehanna River Hawks as they secured a 17-10 win over the Franklin & Marshall Diplomats in NCAA Division III baseball.

Baker Campus Fields hosted the matchup, marking the first meeting between these teams this season.

Applegate recorded two strikeouts during his appearance on the mound.

The River Hawks will next play the Wilkes Colonels Saturday, March 14, at 12 p.m. at Harold Bollinger Field.
