Good Shepherd Rehabilitation in Center Valley, Pennsylvania, has welcomed eight new residents from the Temple University Hospital Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Residency Program. The orientation for these residents began earlier this month.
This marks the fourth year of collaboration between Good Shepherd and Temple University. The program is designed to train future physiatrists—doctors specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation—in a categorical training setting at Good Shepherd.
The 2025-2026 cohort includes Glenn Adesoji, MD; Melanie Aing, MD; Nicholas Averell, DO; Jeremy Barnett, MD; Michael Braswell, DO; Christopher Kim, MD; Tristan Medina, MD; and Somer Smith, MD.
Temple’s PM&R residency program is known for its high ranking and was among the first in the country to establish a formalized residency in this field. Faculty from Good Shepherd are directly involved with Temple’s PM&R Department and contribute significantly to the program’s success. They also work closely with residents on research projects and educational initiatives aimed at quality improvement.
