State Representative Milou Mackenzie has announced two upcoming community events for residents of the 131st District. Both events are free and scheduled for October.
A Senior Expo will be held on Thursday, October 16 at Lower Milford Fire Company No. 1 on Limeport Pike in Coopersburg from 10 a.m. to noon. The expo will provide seniors with access to vendors and organizations offering resources and information, as well as giveaways and complimentary health screenings.
On Saturday, October 18, residents can participate in a document shredding event at Hopewell Community Park in Center Valley from 10 a.m. to noon. Each participant may bring up to four boxes or bags of documents for secure disposal. Staff will remove items directly from vehicles to ensure safety and convenience.
“These events are a great way to connect with neighbors, learn about available resources, and take advantage of services that can make a real difference,” said Mackenzie. “I hope to see many of you there.”
For additional details, residents can contact Representative Mackenzie’s office by phone.
