On Saturday, March 1, former Freedom High School standout Jen Slanovec’s current college team, the UMass-Lowell River Hawks, lost 2-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Hampton Lady Pirates.

The game took place at Lady Pirates Softball Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Lady Pirates this season.

The River Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 12:15 p.m. at NSU Softball Field against Norfolk State Spartans.
