On July 9, 2025, Congressman Mackenzie announced the availability of SEPTA Senior Fair Cards through all district offices. “We’re excited to announce that SEPTA Senior Fair Cards are available through all of our district offices.” This program allows Pennsylvanians aged 65 and older to ride free on all SEPTA transit routes, including buses, trolleys, subway lines, and Regional Rail within the area.

According to him, “Major tax relief is coming for American seniors.” He explained that as part of this plan, 88% of seniors could expect not to pay federal income taxes on Social Security benefits.
