U.S. Congressman Ryan Mackenzie, who represents Pennsylvania’s 7th congressional district, posted a series of updates on social media in early December 2025 addressing veterans’ services, office operations during winter weather, and retirement security for workers.

On December 1, Mackenzie invited veterans and supporters to an upcoming event: ” Calling all veterans and those who support them

Join us on Sunday (12/7) for our veterans’ services expo, hosted in partnership with @RepHeffleyPA, @SenatorArgall, and Carbon County Veterans Affairs. This event will feature local, state, and national organizations that https://t.co/eYR7QnUQFn” The expo is organized with State Representative Doyle Heffley, State Senator David Argall, and the Carbon County Veterans Affairs office.

The following day, as inclement weather affected eastern Pennsylvania communities including the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos—areas within Mackenzie’s district—he issued an advisory regarding office hours: “Please be advised that as a result of today’s winter weather in the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos, our offices are operating on modified schedules. Later that same day, Mackenzie addressed concerns about retirement security at a committee hearing: “Protecting workers’ retirement savings is a priority.
