Ryan Mackenzie highlights firefighter engagement and calls for DHS funding

U.S. Congressman Ryan Mackenzie, who represents Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District, shared updates on his recent activities and legislative initiatives through a series of posts in March 2026.

On March 19, Mackenzie acknowledged the work of emergency responders, stating, “Appreciated the chance to talk to members of the Firefighter’s Association of Pennsylvania as part of their Breakfast on the Hill event. Whether it’s responding to emergencies, protecting families, or stepping up in times of crisis, we’re grateful for their work. That’s why I’ve”.

The following day, he marked the end of Ramadan with a message to local communities: “As Ramadan comes to a close, we wish all those celebrating a joyful and peaceful Eid al-Fitr.

Eid Mubarak to our communities in the Lehigh Valley, the Poconos, and beyond.” (March 20).

Later on March 20, Mackenzie announced a legislative move regarding national security funding: “Today, I introduced a resolution calling for Congress to fully fund the Department of Homeland Security—immediately and in its entirety.

Partisanship from the far left has put politics ahead of our national security. Meanwhile, frontline personnel are working without pay as”.

Mackenzie serves constituents across Lehigh, Northampton and Carbon counties as well as part of Monroe County. His office offers community programs such as art competitions and grant assistance and provides Spanish-language services by appointment in Downtown Allentown (official website). His legislative focus includes healthcare improvements, workforce development, taxpayer protection, environmental conservation, veteran support and government reform.
