U.S. Congressman Ryan Mackenzie, representative for Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District, shared on March 25, 2026, that he hosted local students nominated to attend U.S. military service academies.
In his post, Mackenzie wrote, “It was an honor hosting the young men and women from our community who we have nominated to attend one of our nation’s military service academies. Mackenzie serves a district covering Lehigh, Northampton and Carbon counties as well as part of Monroe County in Pennsylvania. According to his official website, he supports a range of community programs including art competitions and grant assistance (source). Mackenzie’s legislative focus areas include healthcare improvements, workforce development initiatives, taxpayer protection measures, environmental conservation efforts, veteran support policies and government reform (source).
