Ryan Mackenzie shares greetings for religious observances and celebrates Olympic win

U.S. Congressman Ryan Mackenzie, who represents Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District, posted a series of messages on social media between February 17 and February 19, 2026, addressing local communities and celebrating national achievements.

On February 17, Mackenzie extended greetings to Muslim families at the start of Ramadan: “Extending warm wishes to Muslim families and communities across the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos at the start of Ramadan.”

The following day, he recognized another faith observance with a message for those beginning Lent: “Wishing all those who observe Lent a blessed start to this period of prayer, fasting, and charity.” (February 18).

On February 19, Mackenzie congratulated American athletes after an Olympic victory: “Congratulations to our U.S. Women’s Olympic Hockey Team on winning their third Olympic gold medal in an incredible overtime victory. As an American and someone who played hockey in my youth, it was a proud and exciting moment. Congratulations to all our olympians.”

Ryan Mackenzie serves constituents in Lehigh, Northampton and Carbon counties as well as part of Monroe County. He is known for supporting community programs such as art competitions and grant assistance (official website). His office offers Spanish-language services by appointment in Downtown Allentown. During his legislative career both in Congress and previously in the Pennsylvania state House, Mackenzie has focused on healthcare improvements, workforce development, taxpayer protection, environmental conservation, veteran support and government reform.
