Hecktown Fire Company issued the following announcement on June 5
Hecktown Fire and Bethlehem Township EMS were dispatched to a reported tractor-trailer fire on Route 33 North at mile 5.9 at 0410 hours. The driver reported a brake fire on the trailer with flames visible. The driver also reported that the trailer hauled compressed gasses and was empty. 5351 (Chief Seip) arrived on scene, confirmed the dispatch, and used a PW extinguisher to knock down the visible fire. Engine 5311 (LT Cortright) arrived and the crew completed extinguishment. Tanker 5331 (FM Boucher) also responded and assisted with scene safety and overhaul.
