FOIA Request to Plainfield Township Police Pension Plan Regarding 2023 Pension Rosters on September 20, 2024.

In our continued efforts to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at Northhampton News have sent a request under the Pennsylvania Right to Know Law, for records pertaining to the pension fund of the Plainfield Township Police Pension Plan for the year of 2023.

The requested information includes a list of all active and retired employees within the organization's pension fund. Specific data fields requested are last name, first name, middle name, date of birth, employer name, employment start date, employment end date, salary, compensation type, amount, year, process date, last disbursement amount, disbursement frequency and the contribution amount for 2023.

As a media organization dedicated to holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public through our reporting work, we believe that access to these public records is essential. We also believe that as media professionals involved in gathering and disseminating news to the public we are eligible for a fee waiver.
