Rep. Ann Flood of Northampton has released a follow-up report addressing concerns from the November 2023 election in Northampton County. The previous election saw significant issues with voting machines, leading to confusion and mistrust among voters.

The new report builds on findings from December 2023 and includes background information on the problems, details from informal examinations, takeaways from these examinations, and an update on election administration in Pennsylvania.

"As we embark on an upcoming major election cycle, now more than ever we must ensure the security and integrity of our elections and voters’ trust and confidence in the outcome," said Flood. "I will continue to issue election reports regularly to provide transparency, as well as keep a watchful eye on our election processes across Pennsylvania and make sure we have a trustworthy system so residents know their vote counts!"

Flood highlighted that while improvements have been made at various government levels, ongoing systemic issues require monitoring and resolution both locally in Northampton County and statewide.

The detailed report titled “Northampton County Elections Report: Part II” is accessible through Flood's official website.
