On Wednesday, March 12, former Liberty High School standout Blake George’s current college team, the Coast Guard Bears, won 12-4 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Christopher Newport Captains.

The game took place at Captains Park. This was their first matchup against the Captains this season.

The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 16 at 12 p.m. at Nitchman Baseball Field against Keene State Owls.
