Rep. Ann Flood of Northampton County has announced a grant of $172,604 awarded by the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) for improvements to Bushkill Township Park. The funds aim to enhance the park located at 1114 Bushkill Center Road, across from the township building and police headquarters.
“I am delighted that this terrific park and recreation area has been awarded grant funding for vital improvements,” said Flood. “Community parks are hubs for recreation and connection. This grant is a significant stride toward improving the park, ensuring that it continues to be an enjoyable and accessible space for everyone.”
The CFA, established in 2004 as part of Pennsylvania's Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED), manages economic stimulus packages within the state. It oversees funding programs and investments aimed at fostering economic growth.
Bushkill Township Park facilities are available free of charge to township residents on a first-come, first-served basis for personal use only.
