Dr. Vivan Shah joins Good Shepherd Rehabilitation as new outpatient physician

Good Shepherd Rehabilitation has announced the addition of Dr. Vivan Shah to its network as an outpatient physician. Dr. Shah specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) with a focus on acute pain, musculoskeletal and sports medicine, diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound, and regenerative medicine.

Dr. Shah will be seeing patients at Good Shepherd’s South Allentown Campus located at 850 S. 5th St., Allentown. He expressed his enthusiasm for the field, stating, “I chose Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation because it offers a truly rewarding experience.” He added that he finds it fulfilling to witness patient recovery firsthand, focusing on treating conditions such as acute pain, musculoskeletal issues, arthritis, and problems related to the knee, shoulder, hip, foot, and ankle.

Before joining Good Shepherd Physician Group, Dr. Shah worked as a locum attending physician. His previous role was at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana where he managed various medical conditions including neuromuscular disorders and traumatic brain injuries.

Dr. Shah obtained his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. He completed his residency at Beaumont Health in Taylor, Michigan in 2022 and pursued further specialization through an Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine Fellowship at OSS Health in York, Pennsylvania.
