City of Easton recently issued the following announcement.
Easton Star Party by Nurture Nature Center
Event Date: Saturday, June 18, 2022 - 5:00pm to 7:00pm
Held at Scott Park on Larry Holmes Drive. Free community event. Astronomy experts and telescopes will be available.
June 18 - 5:00 -7:00 pm - star (our sun is a star!) party where we safely observe the sun & celebrate the summer solstice.
In the event of inclement weather or poor viewing conditions we will have a space-themed mini Open House, 8 -9 pm, at Nurture Nature Center (518 Northampton St.) with space activities & Science on a Sphere videos. www.nurturenaturecenter.org
