Veterans and their families in the Bethlehem area now have increased access to essential services, thanks to expanded Veteran Assistance Hours introduced by Representative Milou Mackenzie. The new hours are set for the third Wednesday of each month at her Red Hill office, complementing the existing schedule on the fourth Wednesday at her Bethlehem office.
The upcoming service hours will be held on January 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Red Hill location, situated at 56 W. Fourth St., and on January 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bethlehem office, located at 1425 Mountain Dr. N.
Available services include help with compensation, pension and death benefits, education, health care, among others. Veterans do not need to be members of the American Legion to receive assistance.
