Good Shepherd Rehabilitation in Center Valley, Pennsylvania, is organizing a complimentary stroke-risk screening event on May 14, 2025. The event, part of Stroke Awareness Month, aims to raise awareness about stroke risks among the Lehigh Valley community members. It is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is available to individuals aged 18 and above.
The screening event will be hosted at 3200 Center Valley Parkway, Center Valley, PA 18034. Attendees have the option to RSVP by calling 610-778-9208, though walk-ins are also welcome.
The screenings will help participants identify common risk factors associated with strokes. The event includes cholesterol and blood sugar screenings that do not require fasting, assessments for fall risk, heart rate and blood pressure checks, and evaluations of height, weight, body mass index (BMI), and waist circumference. Additional resources include nutrition education and complimentary healthy snacks for attendees. Free parking is provided at the venue.
