CITY OF BETHLEHEM: Mayor Bob Donchez announced today that the City has taken mitigation steps to provide a safe work environment for all City employees, including City Hall and satellite locations.

Mayor Bob Donchez announced today that the City has taken mitigation steps to provide a safe work environment for all City employees, including City Hall and satellite locations.

Mayor Bob Donchez announced today that the City has taken mitigation steps to provide a safe work environment for all City employees, including City Hall and satellite locations. In response to the Governor and Secretary of Health’s December 10, 2020 Mitigation Orders, the City will take the following steps, effective Tuesday, December 15, 2020 through 8:00 a.m., Monday, January 4, 2021:

• City Hall will remain operational but be closed to the public.

• Employees will continue to assist residents via phone, email, and the City website.

• Theis/Cornfeld Recycling Center will remain open.

• Critical situations, including in-person services provided by the Health Bureau, will continue by appointment only.

The public is encouraged to conduct as much business as possible via mail, email, online at www.bethlehem-pa.gov and by phone. The Bethlehem Service Center remains fully operational and can be reached at (610) 865-7000. In addition, the public is encouraged to use the drop box outside the Church Street entrance to City Hall to make bill payments.
