A new online complaint form for Pennsylvania consumers experiencing issues with airline travel, including flight delays, cancellations, and boarding problems, is now available, according to Rep. Joe Emrick (R-Northampton).

The form can be accessed on the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General's website at www.attorneygeneral.gov by clicking the “Submit a Complaint” tab. A printable version is also available.

The attorney general’s office stated that the form was developed in response to a nationwide increase in consumer complaints about air travel. This initiative is part of a partnership with the U.S. Department of Transportation aimed at better assisting Pennsylvania travelers.

Consumers can file complaints whether they purchased tickets directly or through an agent or third party. The new complaint form is available to residents of Pennsylvania or those who encountered airline issues within the state.

Required information includes ticket number, flight itinerary, flight date, date of ticket purchase, ticket price, and form of payment. Specific details about the encountered issues are also necessary for reviewing and resolving complaints.

The U.S. Department of Transportation plans to launch an updated system for handling air travel service complaints later this year. This system aims to enhance the customer experience for the numerous consumers who file such complaints annually. The attorney general’s office will provide further information on submitting complaints directly to the department in due course.
