Five state representatives from the Lehigh Valley are collaborating with PPL Electric Utilities to assist senior citizens in understanding their electric bills. The event is scheduled for Thursday, April 20, at Cedar Crest College in Allentown. It will take place from 9 a.m. to noon in the Lees Hall Gym.

Registration is required for those wishing to attend, and interested individuals should contact their respective legislator. Representatives involved include Milou Mackenzie (R-Lehigh/Montgomery/Northampton), Zach Mako (R-Lehigh/Northampton), Jeanne McNeill (D-Lehigh), Mike Schlossberg (D-Lehigh), and Pete Schweyer (D-Lehigh).

“We are pleased to be hosting this event with PPL and invite customers in our legislative districts to join us,” said the five legislators. “Customers can learn how to read their electric bill or ask questions about estimated billing. They can also find out how to ensure they are getting the best deal on electricity supply and about programs available to assist customers on low or fixed incomes with their monthly energy payments.”

Attendees will have the opportunity for one-on-one sessions with a PPL representative who will review their bills and address any queries. Participants are requested to bring a copy of their most recent PPL bill.

Media inquiries can be directed to Tracy Polovick at 717-260-6358.
