House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Joshua D. Kail, along with Representative Milou Mackenzie and other lawmakers, will conduct a hearing in Lehigh County to discuss The Centennial School's program for students with emotional disturbances and autism. This event marks the first in a series titled "Back to School," aimed at showcasing the school's initiatives.
The Centennial School, affiliated with Lehigh University College of Education, is known for preparing special education teachers for Pennsylvania's workforce. The hearing will feature several key figures including Joseph Helble, president of Lehigh University; Robin Hojnoski, dean of Lehigh University College of Education; Julie Fogt, director of Centennial School; Heather Caricari, lead teacher at Centennial School; Sara C. Heintzelman, technology integration specialist at Centennial School; and parents.
Scheduled for Tuesday, August 6th at 10 a.m., the hearing will take place at The Centennial School located at 2196 Avenue C in Bethlehem, PA. It is expected to be streamed online unless technical difficulties arise.
